My uncle is of some religion i forget whatever but my dad remembers my uncle telling him a few years after i was born about the book they use in his religion predicting twin towers (didnt actually say the twin towers but said about two towers) it freaked my dad out on 9/11. Theres supposidly loads of stuff it predicts he has been wrong on a few things, but then pretty close with others. It predicted about the iraq war something along the lines of the world coming to an end with world war 3. Which to be fair could happen anytime, seems the iranians are on the hitlist now. Although, if I remember correctly, he did predict "Hisler" which people took as being Hitler. And I think Hitler was born in a town called Hisler?!Anyway, as Matt said, the ratio of correct predictions to wrong ones shows that it's really a load of bullshit. Considering that his "predictions" were crazed scribblings of visions he'd had while he was high in the bath, in my eyes, dents the credibility. Same sort of thing as the Oracle of Delphi, really - some dozey twat gets high, sees some weird shit in his/her trance and writes it down thinking he/she has been sent a premonition by God.If you want something really interesting get hold of a series of books called The Earth Chronicles by Zecharia Sitchin. Will knock your socks off. (First book is "Twelfth Planet: Book I of The Earth Chronicles" and was £7 on Amazon last I checked - bargain for a book that will change your perspective on life and religion).
