Rich Pearson
Just wondering if anyone knows where I could find an 18t cog to fit a middleburn 5 arm spider. Had a bit of a look round the usual suspect but no joy really.Rich
Caleb
dont think they exist mate, i think someone on here drilled out a rear surley cog to fit though?
Phatmike
Yeah, you can't buy them unfortunately, it's so tight for space on the spider. You can however drill out a shimana DX cog. It's only £3 if you cock it up too.
trialsguru
blimey ive never even thought of that, does it work? like is there enough space for the bolts to fit? any pics of one done!
Waynio
honestly??? you can actually do that.i would have thought that the "circle" that the holes have to go in would be really bad? in the sense that when you bolt the 18T ring on the chain would touch the ring altho iv never done it, if someone could or has done it, it would be good for others to see and know if they wish to use a 18t/16t ratio Waynio.....................PS il offer one up to a 20T inner ring @ work this morning. see how close it is, altho i rekon im thinking of a 16T that would for sure NOT fit, but the 18t may
