tomturd
Well, 1:6 isn't steep at all then. We have a 1:3 around here. And a shag load of 1:4's So if a 1:3 is 33%.. and 1:4 is 25% (like the one here), thats quite a huge difference in %age. I'd like to see that too, the 25% one just seems ridiculous, let alone 33%

One of our icecream vans got stuck down there. That's suposed to be 1:3 at the steapest. There's a 1:3 going down to a village somehere on the moors, ah good old MTB'in days. And come to think of it the paths down to the seawall can't be far off 30%. No wonder 1:6 seems level. Edited May 22, 2006 by JT!

We also went there for the rest of the holiday... all i can say is walking up these things kills you, walking down them seems to be like uncontrollable running even if you try to walk so i can't even begin to imagine what riding down one would be like.EDIT: Wayne have you looked at the mbuk issue where one of the guys gets towed through the moors on his dh rig by a porsche? I'll try and get the article on the pc so you can have some inspiration, and to see how they mounted the rope to the bike Here you go:[attachmentid=4754][attachmentid=4755][attachmentid=4756] Edited May 22, 2006 by Krisboats
N.Wood
The last time i had a computer on my bike was when i was between 7 and 9.I hit 21mph down my lil cul-de-sac which was flat, but i had about 20meters of 13% incline to help at the start. That was on a 20" Raleigh Max Extreme.I think i win the coolness prize
