Ross Gardner
I just thought after the big build up towards the Tensile Freewheel i would write a review on it. After going from and ACS(36ep) to a Tensile(60ep), the difference in engagement was amazing. The engagement is near enough to instant and the freewheel is very loud. I have had little to no skips as far and i have had it a week roughly. Also i now have more power in my kicks so im improving in my gaps, backwheels etc. With £35 also i could find nothing else better to spend it on, a brilliant spend on a brilliant freewheel. Alun Goch
Nice one. Does little to no skips mean it has skipped?I'm thinking of getting one when / if I get the money. Do they come undone like the ACS?Alun

joewhite
Yer on the front freewheel specific the threads are on the other way around so it doesnt come undone.Yer ross great review and the freewheel is truly lush (had a go on his today) you have truly outdone yourself and have obviously gone out of you way to make this review. cheers joe Edited May 18, 2006 by joewhite
Alun Goch
I meant the lockring that holds the bearings snug! I know they dont screw off lol, and no, the threads are the same way around. Sorry, I didn't make that clear. So do they?AlunEDIT: Is it the lockring threads that are the opposite way around? I'm confuzzled! JT!
Is it the lockring threads that are the opposite way around? I'm confuzzled!Yes. The acs's lockring threds undo the same way the freehweel spins, hence it comming undone. Now that the threds on the Tensile are the other way round, it dons't happen. Mark W
Just for when you're stripping it - it's regular thread compared to opposite thread of other freewheels
