chasthetrialsrider
Is there any difference in having a front freewheel or not as I used to run a front freewheel until it broke but it is a pain trying to get a new set of cranks that are no more than £65 and not second hand, so I was wondering why don't I just buy a new set of cranks that aren't front free wheel and buy a free wheel for the back wheel instead
will17will17
why don't you just take the freewheel off and buy a new one without getitn new cranks?or buy a rear casset hub and buy a screw on sprocket for the front?for example buy: profile mini cassette hub and get a 18T (or what ever you use) for front , do you research Edited May 17, 2006 by will17will17

will17will17
thats why you take it to a bike shop like most people do, and get them to take it off and fit a new one..... or as i suggested a sprocket and rear cassette hub

will17will17
since freewheels are used on some bmx's as well you should be able to find them at a bike shop that sells bmx's if your not sure ring them up and ask before hand if they got them in, if not as them if you buy one will they fit it?Tartybikes - Freewheels Edited May 17, 2006 by will17will17
