Mark W
The only other size I'd have thought people would've wanted would've be 16t? 'cos there's not that many people that run sizes other than 16, 18, 20 and 22t front setups, so I'd have thought 16t would've been most likely out of that list... Ali C
just thought I would say 17-15 is an ACE gear!!

If so ISON distribution sell them. they do come in lots of sizes, but im not sure you would sell that many of the more obscure sizes (15t, 17t, 19t), so i would make sure you have a number of peeps who will buy them.looks as if porter is DEMANDING you get him one though. , and not many people want to mess with porter (beast)
Ashley Smith
what about 14 tsome people use 16 up front to 14 rearash
Mark W
I'm guessing Dave's talking about screw-on sprockets to go up front, not singlespeed sprockets to go on the back?

Ben Cox
sounds quite a tasty idea, get a 9t profile ont back
Mark W
Even BMXers blow up chains with 25:9 gearing, so how d'you think 13.5:9 gearing (the exact mod ratio ) would hold up
Ben Cox
how bout 10t rear cog then? is that 15?
Mark W
Sure is. But to be fair, is going from 18:12 to 15:10 really going to make much difference? Same ratio, barely any weight saving, just a slightly higher chance to snap your chain?
Luke Drewery
I run 20:17, and it feels just right for me. I would never trust something like 16:14 or whatever because I would be scared of my chain snapping all the time.

ogre
How would it kill chains?
Matt_Tupman
How would it kill chains? The chain is over a much smaller area when it's on the sprokets which means increased presure on the chain, but I don't think you'd have a problem with a Kool

ramps
It will also wear down chains faster, not that it should put you off, i wouldn't mind an exotic gear ratio on my bike just lack of cash.
