ogre
Whats your riding style currently like? do you like to do lots of spins etc because the monty is nice and short. I don't know to much about the echo though lol.

CBProductions
How have you narrowed down to these two first of all? , as that will tell us a lot about your riding style hopefully! But having rode the 221 pr I feel that they are too short for tall people , I'm 5'6/7 and found it to be quite cramping. Hobnobs
Completely disagree with above. Im 5' 11" and i didnt even notice the length. Its prolly all about the set up though, and if you buy a full bike, it will have a bar and stem which suit it.
Walleee
Yeh the bar and stem set-up from the full bike is absoutley spot on. I havn't ridden the echo, but I know that the monty is excellent value for money. It's very easy on the back wheel too.....
Alex.loves.boys
I say..T-pro if your looking for a bike with more than 900 wheelbase or the pr if you like the short and flicky ride.I myself am trying to get a pr...Just need to sell the t-lite....so yeht-pro or montyid choose monty though
Greetings
Had a GU Typhoon short (which is a Lite with a 5mm lower bb) and now I ride a Ti (which is basically a PR with tiny modifications). GU with high rise stem, wide bars, Ti with low stem and narrow bars. GU - easier to bunnyhop. very easy to do front wheel ups and f-w gaps Ti - easier to pedalup, sidehop, more difficult on front wheel, better on gaps from rear to rear, VERY good on natural riding. however the high top tube does get in the way occasionally Regardless the GU being a very good frame, I choose the Monty. Obviously this will vary depending on what stem and bars you use. Nevertheless, the setup I'm running now was once Gaz M's and he wanted to get rid of it because it didn't suit him. The Lite will certainly be a more user-friendly bike, I raped my body during the first days of riding the Monty and had to put it away for a week.Wheelbase:Ti - 986mmGU - 1010 (presume the Lite will be the same, both are claimed to have 1000mm)Hope this helps... Gavyn.
i have a pr and i find it amazing. it's better for eveything than my zona was and i feel it gives me alot more confidence in everything i do. i'm 5ft 7 and i think its just perfect length. running a short stem (similar to the zoo) and some riser bar's

Dan6061
I have a Zona Zip. It's quite a long mod, 1040wb with Echo Lite forks. But I can still do 180's and things on it. It's very nice to ride aswell. Bit on the heavy side, compared to what my T-pro was like, but you can't feel it when you ride it.
