David
Hey, Ive got a few problems using flash MX. Ive added some buttons on top of a graphic and they are distorting it... Heres a screenshot of what I mean, its as if the button is wider then it is (Hard to explain) Any help much appreciated. The buttons I have added are GIF's from photoshop but I have the same problem with making a new standard rectangle button... Buttons in the pic are "Menu" and the next, previous and play symbols...Thanks,Dave

Greetings
I can't answer your question but it might be an idea to make the whole object in flash? Also, adding multiple flash elements to a page will reduce the performance significalntly.Hope that helps...
ManxTrialSpaz
Move them colser in so they don't stick out? See if resizing works? OR you could just make the scroll wheel thicker so they don't stick out.

Thats whats confusing me
MaXsteri
Make the whole button/graphic in photoshop and make invisible buttons where you want them (make the shape for the button how you want it as normal and then put it somewhere stupid that isn't called in your actionscripting, like the over or hit state)

Greetings
I don't want to start another topic, if you're working in flash, you might be able to help me Excuse me for the OT. This is about action script. For instance I have in the document two objects: -movie clip a: - and in this movie clip 4 animations (movie clips) in 4 different frames -movie clip b: - and in this movie clip 4 buttons Now what I want to do, is when I click a button in movie clip b, for it to play an animation within movie clip a in the specified frame. So basically I want to make the "play" function work within a different movie clip and not the movie clip in which it is located. Frame labels don't work here Please help....
