Mr_Pitbull
I didn't know whether to give this hub a few weeks before i wrote a review on it but i may aswell write one now since as the other topic is still bumped up in "Trials Videos"Reason why it skips: The pawls are tensioned under a spring meconism, when the hub spins etc the spring losens, hense the pawls becoming slack and not as tight which leads to skipping. As long as the spring is kept tight then the hub wont skip. My first impressions of the hub was "Crap" it skipped once and i couldn't help think of it exploding on me, the skips became frequent, but then died down, it skips very little now could be a sign of it bedding in? or...... After moving from 48 eng to 72 i noticed tiny differences in my riding, such as sidehops. I was used to having that free space between clicks on the profile, so i used to rest on my engagements before preloading. I can't do this technique no more, as with the 72 if i wanted to rest on my engagement i would just move forward. I will write another review in 2 weeks, im going to see how the hub goes in that time. if it gets worse im just going to fork out for a profile again. Thanks James (Biff)

Thanks James (Biff)I don't realy know much about hubs but surely thats shite if it does that so when your free coasting to your next spot and you try to pedal all you get is loads of almighty clunks, doesn't exactly motivate me to get one at all, any ways is this the second era of the hub or was it the first one as i t was said they took them back to the drawing board ? Didn't they ? Enlighten us biff. Edited May 13, 2006 by watto
