OK, I have been selling things on ebay, then paying the £4-5 bills as they came, then last month I got a bill for £20, there is no way at all I have wound that much up, could they have got it wrong?

I have not bothered paying it yet and sent messages saying, ''I am 99% positive I have not built up a bill of over £20 on selling Items, I use no special features and each listing costs £0.50 each, please coul I have an invoice of each item, the total cost and what features i choose if any" I'm hoping this will result in, "sorry we have made a large mistake" but because they are a large company I feel it may not.

Anyway, What can Ebay do? If I don't pay the bill because I am definatly not paying it without seeing where the charges have come from.

Anyone's opinions or experiences please...

You have the right to see an invoice first. They will send you one or figure out they made a mistake, like you said (Y)

You do realise you pay a final value fee right? Its on a percentage of some kind. If you sell something for £100 it might be like £7 or something. If you sell for £5, it might be a quid of that, im not sure what the rate is. But if youve sold a lot this month, then yes you will have to pay that fee.

If you didnt know that then you should have read the warnings it gives you when you list an item.

This has happend to me before, all those fee's can add up if your not carefull! Listing / extras / final value fee / rip off fee!

Personaly I think ebay fees are a complete rip off (and well hidden) and would only use them if I was desperate.

Don't user the feeckers, only way its gonna change imo! Hope its their mistake anyway.

Fees, last time I looked...and thats without the fancy extras.

Ok, I'll see what they say, If they don't reply then I ain't payin, afterall, they will make millions from renting a big space.

I tried that when I had a bill for £50 and I couldnt be bothered to pay it.

A year later I got a letter through the door about curt actuon so I finally paid up.

I just screw them over now by selling buy it now only's for 1p and charge stupid ostage costs.
