Mark W
I've done quite a lot of light stuff with torches, and it's not too bad in all honesty. They don't flood it too much if it's dark enough, if you get me The attachments are just some stuff from up by our lake, with me and 2 friends dicking around with a slave flash (which is the flash on a D70), and a torch. Really easy to do, and it's all as it came off the camera, except for the one with the purple tint. All that was added there was the purple tint, done in Photomashop. Mark W
Seems like you've got the gist of it If you plan out in your head what you want to do, it's pretty easy to draw pictures/paint stuff with light (e.g. how mine are done up there /\, or spell out words or whatever). Just be creative

Mark W
Set the camera so it's got a longer exposure (smaller aperture - higher number - and a slower shutter speed), and then just draw the light with a torch, phone or whatever. Brisa
That looks well in my opinion! EDIT: That road sign in the bottom left is stealing my attention. I would clone it out in photoshop. Only critisism of mine. Edited May 17, 2006 by Brisa
Rob_P
Also clone out the rain spots but otherwise yes good Light trail shots in towns are always hard because of so much light pollution
