on hopes, its called floating as when the steel gets hot, its able to expand on the rivets. All the ones I have used acted just like a normal rotor, no wobbling at all, but they doo click when cooling down, like a car does, its pretty cool :P

I've got a 203 version 3 rotor and am using it with my avid cable. Works really nicely and looks pretty good too :) I'm running mine backwards to how they suggest as i could see it was going to mangle pads if run the "correct" way round.

sorry for the poo pic, could probs get a better one if you want

Floating discs are by far the best you can get even if they do cost alot, as Ali has said it's so the discs can more when heating and cooling but the more important reason is that they are self centering which means you always have the best braking performance and the most contact area for better hold.

I'd got for version 4 as I feel that wavey rotors with low contact area are very grabby but don't hold very well and as you wanted the best holding disc thats what i'd go for.

I've owned version 2 and 5 and they where both wank, really grabby but not a nice leaver feel and slipped when under any load.

Always chose function over form ;)

Anways chose function over form ;)

How can they be grabby but not hold very well? I don't quite understand that.

And yeah I will choose function over form. I wanted to know which performed the best.
