mat hudson
right then, this is getting a little bit gay. this is the 2nd front tryall i'v had where the sidewalls have started to tear really really easily. my current one has 3 small holes and lots and lots of exposed threads. i really like the grip and weight the tryall offers, i was just wondering is there an alternative? some of the single wall maxxis tyres look ok, but they'll probably tear too

mat hudson
ye, i'll try a maxis single ply next then, see how i get on, the annoying thing is, the tryalls only 2 weeks oldish so it has near enough all the tread left and its torn like a >insert somthing about virgins and black mens willys<. Mr Motivator
f**k off, with that weight on there my front wheel would plow a furrow as it went along!!! Single ply then.I've been using a 2.2 HotS for a couple of years at 15psi, they last ages, the grip is ok in the dry, they only pinch if you ride like a mong. Savage
What are you doing that tears tyres? I've used TRY ALL since day 1 never torn one, even in less than comfortable training crash situations. Ben.

mat hudson
i think i'v worked out what does it now. half pedal stroke 180 gap to front thingies. sometimes the front tyre slides accress the floor a bit mostly on bricks and i'm pretty sure thats whats done it.
