CBProductions
Or stop being a co*k and downloading films and buy the damn things instead of taking money out of the industry,
JT!
Or stop being a co*k and downloading films and buy the damn things instead of taking money out of the industry,How 'bout NO!It's not really ruining the industry. You don't see George Lucas rummaging though dustbins do you?
CBProductions
Yes but how long has he been making and pionearing films , what do you do JT for work >? How would you like it if someone started ripping your work off so you lost your job or even couldnt get one. You people have no idea and just think its an overpriced market , read about the frigging time and effort that goes into these films before doing such shizzle and be less selfish they dont cost much these days. I wouldn't actually buy music and films anyway, i'm only downloading them becuase they're free. So either way the companys/industy arn't getting my money.I know i'm taking a shit attitude towards it, but it's free.BTW i'm a shop assistant / student. Edited May 11, 2006 by JT! CBProductions
I know I sound bitchy but the film and music industry is suffering , I'm not innocent but I do buy my fair share of stuff hence why I dont have my new mixing desk and leads and hd camera, but yeah I can see your point really ..... meh Its a hard point for me to fight but I think everyone understands that its like shooting the hand that feeds you by doing piracy. Like the person said they normally unzip into one file or into an ISO .
JTM
Thanks all sorted nowSame here, I only get this stuf cos its free. I wouldnt be able to afford it if i had to buy it so do you think the artist/filmaker etc would rather have no money and no fan, or no money and a fan?! Its the better of 2 evils

No I seriously doubt sales have increase as why would people buy a dvd when they already have it

CBProductions
If it was illegal and damaging to the industry , think about it , if everyone found somewhere that did cost price on everything , the industry would fall apart. No I wouldnt as prices are there for a reason. Just like they are with house's and land.

Millions of people want free films and will continue to download them. You're working yourself up for nothing, just let it go. I, for one, want free films and download them all the time. Your bitching about it isn't going to stop me, I won't even listen to you because I simply couldn't give a toss, it's only a film. That isn't a personal attack on you, so don't treat it like one. I just don't want to spend my money if I don't have to.

Simon
No I seriously doubt sales have increase as why would people buy a dvd when they already have it Er, sales/profit have actually increased. They very much try to hide it, but its very true. Was an article about it, either earlier this year or fall of last year. Think the music industry saw a profit gain too.
