anzo
Hi all,Righto, I have an onza intergrated headset, not that I have much choice, on my T-pro. This week I have fitted some Echo Teams, at the base of the forks it is a big 'square' shape, because this is big it rubs on the headset causing the steering to become very heavy occasionally. What I want to know is if I buy a intergrated Cane Creek headset for my pro, will it still rub? Reason for asking is I haven't seen the cane creek ones before and no idea what the fitting is like. Do you think I could use some sort of spacer (perhaps headset spacer) to seperate the forks from the headset?
Onza Kieron
There should be a piece on the forks that matches the headset, a smallish metal rin about 1 1/7th '' wide, ave alook on your current forks, if it ain't there then buy the Cane Creek and remember to fit all the parts, then I don't see why it should'nt run smooth. Mark W
If you've got the crown race on properly, there's no reason it should rub, pretty much. I know people have used the Teams with the Onza and Cane Creek headsets and have had no probs, so just check out you've got everything seated properly...
