011001000110010101110010
The one in the film looked worse than the one in the studio, were they being sneaky and turning up the contrast? Or are they two colours, one worse than the other?
yoyoyo
I do like top gear but some bits are so blantantly scripted, they did not set that carwash on fire. The problem is they've set a precedent where something interesting has to happen.

Dai the Socket
The one in the film looked worse than the one in the studio, were they being sneaky and turning up the contrast? Or are they two colours, one worse than the other?Saturation not contrast :PAnd nah I noticed that, but the registration plates were different. The one they drove said N15SAN and the one in the studio was some just normal new plate like AB55 ABC
Has anyone seen my shoe?
Yeah alot of the cars are different in the video to in the studio, they film ages before they have the car in the studio usually.
Michael Hardman
I do like top gear but some bits are so blantantly scripted, they did not set that carwash on fire. The problem is they've set a precedent where something interesting has to happen.Even though it's scripted it's still amazingly funny, like when clarkson sewed his jacket to the car roof material stuff. And i loved the koenigsegg, especially the turbo.Wasnt it 2 superchargers not turbos. The TVR Speed 12 is probably the dealiest car in the world if they ever produced it, no traction control, TRV and their reputation for twitcyness. Two separate cars, quite oftewn the car in the studio will be a different colour or such, because each company do a set of 'press cars' and the studio filming and the track filing at top gear are done pretty far apart. The speed twelve will never happen, it was the dream of the previous owner, the new russian guy wants to m ake them 'user friendly'. 011001000110010101110010
They did make a speed 12, but the owner drove it over a weekend and had to give it back because it was way to dangerous.

yoyoyo
Wasnt it 2 superchargers not turbos. It may well have been. But the high pitch whistle thing sounds lush whether it's a turbo or a supercharger.

Thought my TV was going funny, but then in the studio it looked normal.
Tom Booth
On the TVR situation, anyone seen the new TVR concept? Lush, I will try and find a picture, it was in a magazine I was reading at dinner.

Haz
Disagree If you looked out for red/pink stuff in the background you'd also notice those bits were really really bright as well. Thought my TV was going funny, but then in the studio it looked normal. Well I dunno' then, I know they do use separate cars in the studio to on the track. But the pink of the roadtest car looked really bright, almost flourescent, but into the studio it looked quite pale, just like normal gloss paint. Having said that, they do use rediculous filters to make cars look better than they do in real life. When I saw an MC12 at a motor show, I was sadly dissapointed to find instead of the cream paint I thought having seen Top Gear, it had gay pearlescent paint, which made it look trash.
