Ok well having just been riding today I have put a fold in my rim and it's time to get a new one. Although my friend changed to the new echo rim and couldn't fit it in with his pads.

[attachmentid=4440]

So i'm looking for a tough rim , good with grinds and good with green cousts please?

Don't say use the search as I have and it revealed nothing to help.

Cheers in Advance

Craig

echo rim would work with your setup, but my cousts in cnc didn't work very well with an echo rim, gosh knows why.

maybe kris holm? similar material to the koxx your running now, so if that works grind wise, then go for a kris holm :)

The koxx rim had the noise and initial bite but no hold and just seemed to go out of true all the time :( ,

i'd advise a dx-32, or similar, they seem top dog :)

or maybe try an echo cnc '05 rim if you can get your mitts on one :)

Whats the width on it as I need room to fit the cnc pads in as well , some more comments would be lovely people :)

u can run any width!!!

your koxx rim is 47mm, so use whatever rim as you like m8 :)

width is not a problem

Wow, you must have fingers the size of my thighs to have done that then!

Is that the only dent? if so, you dont need a new rim, may as well use it till the bitter end :)

cheers andy

You might be able to fix it? If you can get hold of an aluminium welder, just bend out that part, cut a piece of aluminium to fit behind it, and try that?? Should save you some dosh if it works

I have no welder , I have no access to one and I also think that a new one will be more efficent.

Oh and Will I thought you had trouble running your new echo one ?

if you get an echo one, it should be the same width as the koxx one???!?!

i had a different model frame remember, so maybe thats why?
