Greetings
Just thought I'd post this up and see wether you guys also came across some similarily insane situations. This happened roughly in 1999 if I remember correctly. My dad had then been working at the Wimbledon Championships engraving the cups and plates for the winners of the tournament for about 20 years. Before moving off to Poland we had a very very good friend who also lived in Wimbledon. He moved off to Australia in 1998. In 1999 something happened to the car or dad's licence (don't remember exactly what this was) so instead of driving the 1000 miles in his MGA we had to take a plane to Heathrow. By then this was our 4th visit traveling from Poland (3 by car and this one by plane) to Wimbledon for the Championships. We flew happily to Heathrow airport and took a taxi and drove off to Wimbledon. On the way, the taxi driver starts talking about journeys and begins to tell a story about a 60 year old man who drives his 40 year old car 1000 miles to England for the Championships each year - which was in fact about my dad. Later on we enquired about how he knew about this, and it turned out that this chap was driving our friends to Heathrow for their plane to Australia, and that's when he had this story told to him. Pretty unreal if you ask me. Post away Edited May 6, 2006 by Inur

Me and my best mate jay do that all the time, we also go to text each other and get a text off the other person, like i'll think "oh i'll text jay to see what he's doing on tuesday" and he'll text me saying do i wanna go out to fan club on tuesday night, bizarre shit. Dan6061
Ringing someone at the same time as they rang me, and we both got to answer phones! I'm to lazy to ring again, but they rang me after. Going to knock on someones door, they come out before I've even knocked, and they're about to call for me. Going out at the same time a mate does, meeting them half way Picking up my phone as I get a text. Sending someone a text saying like 'you coming out?' and getting one just after I sent it, from that person asking the same thing. Ummm... I'm weird. steve sturt
I went to australia for a few months in 2002. Walking along Clarence Street in Sydney, I saw a guy I was at school with in Surrey. Quickly had a nightmare run through my head, of being 12000 miles from home stuck with this complete knobber that I neevr liked for the next 12 months. Ran into the nearest clothes shop and hid in a clothes rack for 10 minutes until I was sure he had gone. Havent seen him since.
