Danny_G
Hey i'm new to trials-forum so... Hello One and All I been riding trials for about a year (old skool style) on my Pashley 26mhz and want to switch to a new skool bike. Only problem the building of it! Some say I need to go join "the long, low and silver brigade?" but i'm not too sure what to do. I'm not bathing in money so I want to build a totally new bike from scratch over a 6-7 month period whilst i still perfect the finer sides of trials and spend roughly between £1000 - £1500.. But how should it be built?? I've been looking on tartybikes.co.uk and seen some of the fully built bikes, they look so rude!! But i've been thinking about one from scratch.. The Ashton Justice, Echo Control and GU Typhoon frames look sweet!!. But my real question!... Should I buy the frame and forks first and everything else to go with it?Or buy the rims, brakes, other components and frame and forks last because better frames will be out?Or can anyone give me any better advice what to do or what not to do!!?? Thanks look forward to the response!!
Ali C
might as well get a frame first, but just do yourself a favour and DONT get the GU.
tipsy Jock
Yup, go for frame first, prices are relatively low at the moment and there are some brilliant frames on the market. control or justice is a good choice check out the 05 pitbull and new pure as well.*cough* validate? *cough*
Simpson
cost me about 6 - 8 hundredbut if you changed the frame then it would obiosly make the most radical difference
