Tony Harrison
My 30Gb i-pod Photo has finally screwed itself, and just goes into a loop on boot up, and won't do much. I have an instrant replacement Dixons coverplan, but I don't think they do the 30Gb one in the shops anymore - do they? - only the 60Gb one that costs £300.This happened last time... my original i-pod was 10Gb, and it broke, so I took it in for the replacement and had to pay £50 to upgrade to the 30Gb Photo, as the 10Gb model was no longer sold.Anyone else had experience with Dixons on this? I'm going to go there today I think and just tell them either give me a 30Gb or better at no extra cost, or money back. No vouchers, no upgrades, no excuses...EDIT: Nil desperandum... I've fixed the little b*****d. Edited May 5, 2006 by snappel
Danny
Really they should replace yours with the same or if not better model free of charge.
Dan@Trials-uk
I’ve had no problem with them. I firstly had the 3rd Gen I pod (60GB 1 colour screen one)Then that broke, and they gave me instant replacement of a photo I pod and a 100£ credit with them. Then after a while that broke, so they replaced that with the new video 30GB one. Then the screen cracked, so they replaced it again for another one, After using the new one for 2 weeks or so, there was something wrong with the transfer from the comp to I pod, So I took it back, and they gave me yet another new 30GB video I pod So, yeh, they're pretty sound.
