Most of the time I try and come on here, it wont connect, comes up with that page you get when the site doesnt exist.

Every so often I can get on and its fine after that.

Whats going down? Is there some issue?

Dont just link me to some past topic as you all should know by now, I dont pay attention

Doh :(

I'm off to Cardiff today so I'll have to look into it tomorrow. I'll be honest though and say I have absolutly no idea where to start. I'll reset the services again now, so can you let me know if you still get the errors between now and tomorrow?

I know what it is, the homepage is directed to the numbered one "http://83.170.72.216/~trials/forum/index.php" but the sub-forums are still linked to the Trials-Forum.co.uk address and that doesn't work for me (could be down to NTL like Josh was posting about the other day)

Anyways if you have trouble getting to sub-forums copy the address you want to go to and replace the trials-forum.co.uk with the numbered address like so:

http://www.trials-forum.co.uk/index.php?showtopic=76126

to:

http://83.170.72.216/~trials/forum/index.php?showtopic=76126

That'll then work, its obviously MAJOR hassle but if its a must see video you can get to it like that (Y)

I'm guessing this forum is hosted on an Apache httpd. If you can, check the config file for errors. I've had problems in the past with bad config files f**king things up with virtual servers. Sounds more likely to be a DNS problem, though.

If it presists, phone up the provider and tell them to sort it out and that you want compensation for denial of service. (Usually when they hear the whole thing of "denial of service," they're pretty quick at getting things sorted).

EDIT: Just thought that if you've recently updated your DNS it might be the ISPs of the people having problems that haven't updated yet. Would sort itself out today I would have thought.

Danny/Tom add a poll to the thread with the options:

Have a problem with TF often and use NTL Broadband

Have a problem with TF often and use a different service provider

Dont ever have a problem with TF loading as mentioned

See if its mainly/just NTL users with the problem, if so its not at your end and I'll call up NTL and see if they can sort anything out at there end.

Olly.

P.S. At the time that CRTL+F5 didn't work when its down, its down, and that was mid-way down after it didn't go anywhere, I saved the pic and posted later when it did work.

It just happened to me about 10 minutes ago, but it's working fine now. PS What Olly C suggested works fine, but it's waaaay too much of a pain in the arse to do every page.

P.S. - I'm on NTL

It always works for me, not NTL. Sometimes I get this though

[attachmentid=4419]

Also recently I the window the spell check is in cuts off half the buttons, with no way to resize it. Its super annoying, but it might be a firefox issue rather than a tf issue

Thats what firefox does when it cant/wont download the image which it should be.. a CTRL+F5 should sort that out for good - hopefully.

As for the spell check, that should be an easy fix.. ill look into it now :) (ill just make it so you can resize the box if you want to)
