"they Are Sound In Real Life"...

I'd like to make a point. I keep see'ing people being 'unts, and their reason, or their friends reasoning for saying sorry or what ever they come back with, is, "but he/i are sound in real life".

This is the internet people, how the f**k are others that havn't met the person/you supposed to know how the hell you are in real life. The last two words being key here, real life. Real life != internet, but as 70% of the people on this forum wont ever meet, they have to base their opinions on you from the internet, therefore, internet = real life. If you are a 'unt on the internet, i/they will think you are a 'unt. No two ways about it. You/they obviously know they are being 'unts on the forum, 'cause otherwise they, or their friends wouldn't say, "but they are sound in real life". If you/they are sound in real life, why the f**k aren't you sound on the internet?

Rant over kiddies.

Also, before anyone believes the world rotates around them, this isn't aimed at anyone, i've seen countless people say it.

Time of the month again? :P

I do understand what you mean and I do agree. I read it a lot on the For Sale forum when parts are late in the post, and people say 'hez me best mate so hez sound innit'...or words to that effect.

If parts are late, they're late...no urms and ahh's about it, hes a con artist in my books so I don't give a shit what hes like in the flesh, it don't get me my parts any quicker.

Yeah i see what your getting at, alot of people hide behind their computer screens and say what the hell they like (when they wouldn't face to face) to look as though they don't give two shits and therefor are supercool.

Simon raped me in real life

I'm different in 'real life' than i am on here though, tend to be quite quiet when i'm on a big ride. :)

same :P

I'm quiet with people I don't know that well, but on the 2nd time of meeting them I'm a lot more relaxed with it. Obviously, I assume first impressions count for a lot, so I try my best to be 'normal' and get what there like first...and then you know how you can act around them.

Think of it as like telling a disability joke to a stranger...you don't know whether they'll come out with 'My mums in a f**king wheelchair'...so you keep it shh shh until you know them better.

I agree with you, but im different. If i have something to say, ill say it. Weather im behind a computer screen or not. Its all my mother's fault.

Im one of those people you either like or you dont. There's nothing in the middle. Im normally a alrite chap. But if someone piss's me off, then i have no control over myself and go on a huge rant.

From Lee... :P
