If you only want 'alerts' find the sound files in Windows on your hard drive, not exactly sure where you might find them, transfer them to .mp3 format or whatever format you need and send them to your phone.Do you have a data cable or any way of connecting your phone to your PC?Just re-read your post and I dont think you want an annoying 'ping' sound. What I tend to do is just find soundclips from websites of films or whatever it is I'm looking for, download the clip and put it straight onto my phone.For example, my message tone is the War Cry from Xena Warrior Princess, not that I watch it, but I realise how annoying that f**kin scream thing is.I guess you got a data cable with your phone, most new phones have them as standard now. Search the artist you want, click their album thats for sale. Usually they have a great big list where you can 'sample' the tracks...Download it, Save As and all that jazz, and then put it on your phone.If thats what you meant...?
