anzo
Use a booster, which may protect it a little.Use braided hoses.Put a thick layer of stickytape at the links into the calipers so they're not as flexible.

MikeCottTrials
That happened to me twice in a row literally in a row really got on my tats i've just had it rebleed and it hasn't happened since but if it happens again i'm going to get a brake booster because both times it happened it was right where a booster would have protected it. but if you need to protect the rest of the cable your only option really is to buy a braided hose pricey but effective, think its about £25 for them to put it on plus it will need rebleeding so thats another tenner
