michabass
nice bike mate it would look ace if you had a mini seat on it (WOOOOOOOOOOOOOO! 5 String Bass what is it?)I appreciate all the nice things you guys say about my steed, needless to say I like it very much too... Its a Hungarian made Magellan Tucana 2007 with Magura mounts. These are really cheap compared to zoos and koxxes. Eastern Europe and Russian riders use these quite a lot! I put it together from what I could scrounge here in Serbia, so there are basically no trials specific parts on it (except hs33?). It works for me, I am a hard head beginner so no huge drops to rail or anything fancy like that... ...as for the bass guitar it is not a Warwick mate, but a custom made 5 string Illiani bass, made by my good friend and a Luthier for quite a few years now... I play some jazz-rock fusion thing on it with my band Jazzitet - you can check it out on the Youtube if you care.cheers
Meccanoman
Hey All First post here,But before I put up a pic of my bike I would like to apologise to the admins for mailing them asking why I couldn't post. I just read the noob instructions. So, sorry guys ...Any way here is a pic of me on my first trials bike its an Onza T-Raptor LE, (Yes I know its not usual to be hitting up gaps and doubles on a trials bike but I was out riding in the wood and just came across them, couldn't resist )I have been riding it since last summer. I spend a lot of my time on it in the skate park! The onza has been a great bike to start learning on, but now I am looking to change it for something a bit more serious. What I am wondering is, how do people rate all the DENG bikes, i.e. zoo gu, adamant, zhi etc. are these good quality bikes? Or can someone make a recommendation of a good strong bike to upgrade to bearing in mind I am 6'4 and over 100kilos. Thanks Mek
MadManMike
Hey mate, loving the T Raptor - I started on the old school silver & blue one Not had any first hand experience but people seem to love their GU / Echo / ZOO's!

Fzo
Does it have 135mm dropout? Does it have f'ed up brakemounts? Frame is 1088 +35 392Monty 231 kamelEcho urbansMonty 231 stem 135mm 25degSKF128mm bbMiddleburns with 20t, with 1mm spacers on chainring to be able to rung with koolchain and the chainring scratches the frame when pedaling hard. I suppose. Atleast there is some circular scratches but the ring ain't touching when there's no force. But it may take 3" gazza if you're stupid enough to try.
