It's not like Hope XCs don't break though, is it? Mat's cracked by one of the pawl housings, and skipped on it's own anyway. Same with Luke's now (the skipping like a girl, that is)...

to be fair, i did put hench different springs in it, and it was like 4 years old. lukes never propperley skips, just clicks, you'd know if it skipped :P

PRAISE THE LORD.

but on a serious note,i love my king.ive tried lx hubs, bulbs and xc's.every one let me down on too many occasions.ive tried the new hope one and it is solid as but ive lost my faith in most of hopes products.im not saying theyre crap, they just dont suit my riding style.

new front hub came finally after 2 1/2 months, now running red king classics front and rear B)

no probs at all with skipping as i service the rear hub quite regularly with the proper king ringdrive lube and give it a right good clean out etc.

kool. thanks again lads.

with a brand new chris king is there anything i need to do to make it run nicely?

are parts easy to get? needed often?

Go bed it in, 30 mile, no seat, 1 gear.... Woooooooo go for it :turned: .

Shouldn't be any problems if you bed it in properly.

Mat
