Would it be ok to spray a hub (or would the paint chip off) there arent many white parts around though i've noticed :( which is a bit poo! juoi how do you think a zip would look sprayed, white at the rear, black in the middle and then white at the front end?

i've seen tons of people spray hubs, even whilst they are still laced up and they've been fine.

paint it if you want.

black would look good to though, like deonn says.

don't paint you're bike black AND white though, especially not in a fade, it would look like a skunk or a zebra or something equally rediculous.

infact, thinking back after typing this out, i'm sure i saw some guy with white hubs on a stock bike which he had made a custom brake mount for or something, i can't really remember.

I've tryed hunting down white bits of bike many a time, but never found white mtb hubs.

Heres the result of my white bike.

I'm just showing my bike off  , there is 'some' relevance. If you look at the pics, my front wheel is black hub/white rim, and the rear silver hub/white rim. Just so you can see how it looks :P

Personally i'd go with Black hub, white rim, either silver or black spokes would be fine. (Y)

Yeah, don't make your first priority colour. I mean, if Shimano did a hub that was white with 3 engagement points, would you buy that? In fact, don't answer, because you probably would buy it...

I'd have the front one. ^_^
