Janson
The BMF/DX32 is the strongest 'cheese' rim out.I suppose you could use a Sun Doublewide (Ali C used one, as did Whiteboy?), but I hear they're heavy.I'd just try and be smoother, I've yet to dent my try-all... CurtisRider
d521s rock, but seem to be narrow for alot of you peopleronnies seem ok, im using one atm, its too wide and heavy for my liking but i guess its strongdx32s(same as your bmf) are about the best wide rim available i think, cheap and reliable
Whiteboy
i agree with janson my koxx rim really does rule, not asingle dent when i used to dent my dx32 a while ago (probbably due to grinded thin sidewalls and maby wasnt as smooth) but if youve got a good set of pads that work well on "soft" rims then your sorted. ive been using my majic pads on the same grind for almost 2 months and have had no need to grind they just hold nice. my next rim will be a onza hog only cause there eylated. or you can always buy my sunn doublewide off me with small flatspot...indurstructable ( well preety much)cheers.... Davetrials
damon killed a sun double wall in summet daft like 2 weeks and is currently using a hog rim and apparently loves it.also there is no way to land properly when goin big, ian hasnt a clue what hes on about, find sum big daft supid line that a few people have done, and look at it there is no way to land smooth. That does help as i know how Damon rides. I have been thinking about a sunn double wide but might not bother. How long has he had the hog for? What are the ronnie undrilled rims like anyone? Thanks Brett .....
Davetrials
coodnt say how long, but damon does sum fuggin big stuff, so unless you of simelar standard i think a hog or double wide would do u fine, i coodnt say anything bout the ronnie rims, i no there awsome to grind thats it lol

I am not fat or anything but just seem to go through rims quicker than brake pads and tyres lol.Someone must be able to reasure me that there is a semi indestructable rim out there?Cheers Brett.... loffa
I have the same problem right now. I've killed two '06 Echo rims and now a DX32(though it was drilled 1" so i'm not too surprised). Can anybody tell me is there any real difference between an Onza Hog rim and a Koxx rim? Other than eyelets.

I have never tried a ronnie no. Would i be better getting an undrlled ronnie?Cheers
Burton
Damons hog has lasted for quite a while now.His double wide lasted less than 2 weeks. Echos lasted less than a week. His ronnie took quite a bit, but it has the un-drilled un that lasted.Get a hog/v!z/koxx rim and get it built strong, thats your best bet. Some people say grinds dont last long, but i've never had that problem. Try a set of Coustsinks with it for a good brake set-up.

Damon W
I currently use an Onza Hog rear rim and its chuffin awesome .... well strong had it a while now, and hardly flat spotted at all the other uber strong rim ive used was the UNDRILLED ronnie sun doublewides are bollocks mine lasted like a week and a bit and i didnt even drill it Echo 2006 rim .......erm...... planet x bmf was alreet for a bit, but 50'ped well easy.conclusion: Onza rims are pretty damm strong.dont even be tempted by Koxx/viz rims
