Lee Cable
can you stretch for a maggy? Not moaning or nothing, but it says v brake. He obviously prefers v brakebecause there better, And a decent v brake is damn expensive..avid ultimate. CurtisRider
can you stretch for a maggy?wheres the stretch? a v thats on par with a magura(with same pads and stuff) is about the same priceAnd a decent v brake is damn expensive..avid ultimate. They are the most sexual brakes in the world...not really, ultimates are only 50quid now, and they are the best v brake you can get, not that much more money for a superior brake really
am4zin
not really, ultimates are only 50quid now, and they are the best v brake you can get, not that much more money for a superior brake really How come they're so much cheaper then they used to be? Ages ago I heard that they stopped making them in the USA and were going to make them in the east somewhere, and if that was actually true maybe that's the reason why they're now 40quid cheaper. I ran Ultimate calipers, XTR lever, linear slic cable, heatsink pads and i prererd a magura by far ... but thats me.Thet both give the same performance if set up propperly. Rich Pearson
XTR lever, nokon or clarkes cable, XTR calipers, XTR booster (very hard to find), and I'd probably say echo pads (basically the same as Plaz Spanish Fly but a bit cheaper). A not too harsh grind is pretty helpful aswell. Not cheap, but if you want the best......Rich
