GlynnP
Hey i currently have a echo team booster that came with my frame but recently i have noticed my brakes are spongey and i am almost 100% sure its because of frame flex. I think the holes for the bolts are wearing away and not holding right. can you tell me if you have had this problem. So also i am now obviously looking for a new booster probally 4bolt any 1 got some suggestions remeber i am riding mod?or does any 1 know of when the heatsink mod booster is going to be released?Cheers Glynn
ogre
That booster is a monster, i doupt it will be frame flex, go run down to your bike and clamp the brake realy hard it'll be obvious if it is frame flex. you could need a bleed how long have you had the bike? Burton
The echo team booster is good, but nothing special. How about the standard echo booster, its black and silver. You could always wait for the long awaited Heatsink mod booster? Also check your pad set-up, and how they're worn. Check your brake for air bubbles, or leakage.
GlynnP
If i stand infront of my bike and pull the brake the frame flexes so i am pretty sure its frame flex but i cood be wrong i did bleed my brakes 2 days ago and the pads are pretty fine but its weird its only happened in the last 2 weeks.cheers for the help
JT!
I have the onza carbon booster and my frame still felxes. I think the main problem with spongyness is if the pads arn't sqare on the rim.

Mark W
So's your penis whenever you talk to me, but i'm not gonna hacksaw that off and drill 4 holes in it and use it to stop my frame flexing. Only 'cos it's so brittle it'd shatter when you drilled it.True story.Anyway, Echo Team = hell yes. Control if your seat-stays are made of spaghetti. RandomHero
Wait for the Heatsink mod booster. Although it should theoretically be out today seeing as how today is the last day of april and it says release date 'April 2006' on the page.
