Trials Punk Posted April 30, 2006 Report Share Posted April 30, 2006 In fairness, if someone managed to shoot me from 400ft, right in the eye, I'd probably use my final breath to go "Fair enough".That got me giggling.At 200 yds and air rifle can still pack a fair punch. Shooting is a hobby to alot of people just like your trials, Because some chavs are firing them at people doesnt mean if you ban it they still wont use them against people. I do believe its illegal to posses a air rifle under the age of 17. Also its illegal to brandish any sort of firearm in a public place in a threatening manner. It was more than likely a air rifle, anything more and you would heard a proper crack and whizz past you. Just goes to show theres some right ignorant wankers in this world especially those who shoot cats You did the right thing with running away if some unfortunate act of Allah/Jesus/Bob marley you did get hit in the eye you would more than likely lose your sight. Funny, however no one said they are aiming to hit you in the eye would just take a random stray one to hit you in the eye and that that, blindness would be bad enough anyway! let alone death.As for retaliation, I dunno why you guys all seem so keen, it might be a nice idea etc, but do you not consider that it might jsut piss them off more and lead to escalating levels of violence. I found that out in a similar situation.I suggest if there is a next time you get a description of the car and possibly its license plate number. Then phone it in to 999. Say you've been shot at and it'll be treated with higher priority than a report at a desk. If your lucky it might escalate into a chase and the world will have a few less chavs (or, to give them their proper name, "rent boys").Or, if you're mental use this to fire back: Rifle made of pipe, matches, toy caps and a bolt. Doesn't sound any worse than an air rifle and will fire as quick as you can pull the trigger if its a semi such as a ruger 10/22.Report it and don't say its an air rifle as you don't know for sure, the police are more likely to do something if it could possibily be live rounds. It was when i first got my planet x zebdi and i was up by my old primary school with my mate scott. And this emo slash chav had a air rifle same as my dads on a guitar case. And the dick thought it would be funny to wave it about. Then he saw me and my mate and aimed it at me. I was trying to see what it was and he said run or ill shoot. This was when i was a little tapped in the head and my mate run and i sat on ma bike waiting to see if he would shoot. And to my surprise yes he did shoot.
