rich4130
Yo, I've gotta network with 2 pc's on, just a wired one sharing a broadband connection, yet msn never works that well, I get cut off loads, and messages randomly don't get through, which can be annoying.Anybody got any ideas on what I could try? tomturd
Errrr.. seeing as some messages are getting through, this probably wont work, but have you opened the MSN ports on your router?

tomturd
Um, how is your network set up? Do you have the internet connection going into the router, then 2 wires coming out of the router into each of your PCs?If thats the case then you need to look in the manual for the router and find out the IP address for it. Usually something like 192.168.0.1 or 192.168.0.101 (I think) (so type http://the.ip.address into your web browser). Once you're in there should be a section on opening ports. You need to open port 1863, and 6891-6900 (TCP). Itll become clear once youve logged in.
