Greetings
Since I insist on riding in long trousers I need some fairly comfortable ones to ride in this summer. I'm fed up with riding in jeans which just stick to my thighs and constrain me when doing a move. As track suits are perceived the worst and most gay thing you can possible wear over here (because it's the typical polish chav dress) I can't get any feedback from my friends. Will such trousers be sheer, light and not constrain me? It would also be good if I didn't get too hot in them. Dunno much about clothes so any help or advice would be greatly appreciated.Thank you

PaRtZ
I wear (and currently am as a fact) back three quarters with that white netting stuff inside. Fook me I've missed these: there too cold to wear in Winter so not worn em in ages. They're really lightweight, cool (in both ways ) and really not restricting with movementhighly recomended
poopipe
Will such trousers be sheer, light and not constrain me?yes they will they will also get eaten immediately by cogs, pavement, branches, pedals, walls, brake levers, boosters, stems, bashplates, axle bolts and so on.probly best not to ride in expensive ones just wear shinpads with shorts if you have skinny chicken legs and don't like getting them out in public Edited April 26, 2006 by poopipe
Walleee
Addidas Popper's I'll probobly get a pair of 3/4 length's to stop all my cool chino's getting eating by my ACS. Edited April 26, 2006 by jake1516
Greetings
just wear shinpads with shorts if you have skinny chicken legs and don't like getting them out in public that's not the reason, my legs are very massive but they're not exactly straight (probably the effect of playing football when i was young) and this looks especially silly when riding
Freddie
that's not the reason, my legs are very massive but they're not exactly straight (probably the effect of playing football when i was young) and this looks especially silly when riding Don't worry about it.. Just put what is comfy on (SHORTS) and ride till your heart is content.
Sam Ward
I only wear trackies nowadays as theyre cooler than jeans (in both ways) and theyre also alot more comfy, just get a pair of adidas or nike ones but don;y get them in black as black absorbs heat radiation and you'll be sweating like a paedophile in a playground.sam

Simpson
i got some 3/4 lengths which i ride in and are well nice - but for trackies in the summer what you want is the trousers which dont have an inner lining as these are the ones which get propper betty and stick to your ass. just got loos fitting breathable non lined trackie bottoms - everyone looks like a chav round here so it doesnt matter what you wear

Caleb
any specific model i should look for? There all pretty much the same, no one really goes by subnames of brands to be honest.just choose what looks nice and feels good.oh and int expensive as your not using em to show off to the ladies
anzo
just wear shinpads with shorts if you have skinny chicken legs and don't like getting them out in public I always have to snigger when I see that. A pair of shorts and then massive shinpads...dents the pride a bit, won't do the street cred much good.I, like partz, have 3/4 shorts, never ridden in them because they're white. But no doubt I will be in the summer if we get this red hot weather we've been promised for the last 20 years.
Greetings
White looks good but it's all the funny patterns one will have on ones' bottom when coming back from a ride that puts me off
Sam Nugent
I usually wear my reebok tracksuit trousers. Don't know how to describe the lining but it's comfy and you don't get too hot wearing them.
