Tony Harrison
I'm currently using blue Heatsink pads, and they're 'ok'. I used to think they were amazing, but recently my brake has been slipping a lot. It's got a fresh grind, but still slips without too much effort. I'm not sure whether the pad material has gone funny or what, but I'd just like to know what pads people are using. I've been using an X-lite Phatso, and a Tioga DH at the moment.BUT... please could I have replies from people with shit-hot brakes that don't have super harsh grinds, and who do stuff that tests their brake. If everyone says what pads they use, this'll get long and complicated...Thanks in advance!
Joe_Elding
Now its becoming summer again Deffo plaz, I run a worn grind and have run Plaz, koxx brown, heatsink reds/cnc backings and majic pads. And I've now put the original set of plaz back on and they outperform everything else

Mark W
just gt some koxx bloxx, i think people have forgotten the ammount they own every other pad in wear and grip. Mat speaketh the truth. The browns seem to be working well for the 2 people here who use them, and my greens are still super nice...
ramps
Well I recommend koxx reds, mine hold right on the edge of any wall, I haven't ground my rim for about a month and I do manuals and other moves that involve 'dragging' the back brake and they are still beastly good. Will Arnold
if you only really ride in the dry, plazmatic crm's will work so well, specially with that rim!!

Tony Harrison
I ride in wet weather too. I'm leaning towards Koxx Bloxx now. What significance does the colour of the compound have?
