sembo_trials
hi foks,am going to purchase an avid bb7 because they are wicked!!!is there any other pads you could use instead of the ones you can get with it to make it perform even better than it already does? p.s. has anyone had any problems with the brake what so ever? CurtisRider
standard pads are supposed to be the best problems: the red dials falls off in time, the callipers have been known to crack, the brake fades when it gets hotbut everything else thats positive about them outweighs those problems really, feckin ace brakes
the judge
EBC reds are supposed to be quite good but I don't think you can beat the standard pads. I've not had any problems with mine yet

I've not had any problems with mine yet im pretty sure sure the general consensus with them on avids, were they werent as good as proper avid padso yeah, get a decent lever and cable, makes a world of difference-xtr lever and linear slick makes a great combo

JT!
EBC reds are supposed to be quite good but I don't think you can beat the standard pads. I've not had any problems with mine yet My EBC reds were slightly better on my avid. But my avid was crap with both pads, was from the day i bought it.However i've tried lots of avids and they were all way more powerful than mine was. mat hudson
you corrupted the power of the avid with your homosexual nature! the reason you like your hope and it likes you is because its gay too. WORD

JT!
My gay-rays have traveled across the country and the avid was powerless against my homosexuality, making it brake like my shitty v-brake on my crap curtis, with it's gay gold parts that make it look chavvy. However the hope is far far to manly to be effected by my fruityness.I agree. Edited April 25, 2006 by JT!
