Jules
Disappointed, there were loads of small clips of ricky gervais before the episode in the commercials saying stuff about it, so i thought it was going to be really good, but it was boring. Ali C
I saw the adverts for it and I thought it looked crap, he can be funny sometimes, but he trys too hard to do his "I m not trying to be funny" or whatever type of humour he likes to do.the episode was utter bollox like most recent simpsons, they should stop making it before it does an ugly death and people have got sick of them (nearly there in my eyes)
RicH_87
ricky gervais is shit anyway, i've always thought so. Fair enough, Office was dece enough, but he only has one joke, him acting like a twat, and he does it all the time, everywhere, always......ever....he needs to get a new act, or some decent jokes, or just go away and hide. plainlazy84
Loved him in the Office and loved him in his stand up show Animals and Politics. Brilliant stuff. Havent seen this episode of the simpsons though so cant comment on that Just thought I'd get a bit of balance, with all these Gervais haters about. yoyoyo
My mums a noob and said having a sky box would make our victorian house(or whatever era it is) look modern. So we don't have sky. Sounds like i wasn't missing much though.

By the sounds of it you have a Television, and unless your in an internet cafe you have a modern PC and the internet in your home. All very much in keeping with her Victorian-esque fantasty world then eh. But a Sky box on the other hand..... WOAH too far.
Tomm
Maybe he's talking about the dish on the outside of the house? It might be difficult anyway, Sky refused to put a dish on our house because it's a big old Victorian house and it's too tall As for that Simpsons, I thought it was mildly amusing, like most of the Simpsons these days. Worth watching, but not particularly exciting. Ricky Gervais sounded a bit stupid I thought. I usually like the guy (The Office, Extras and his stand ups are all amazing), but in that episode he seemed really tense sort of, not relaxed at all. anzo
It could be worse. Did anyone have sky a billion years ago when you used to have a fecking massive dish on the side of you house that looked like you could listen to the army with it?...and you had to flick through the channels, one by one.You mother is a stupid cow, tell her we live in the Noughties (2000 ) does she cook on a spit and not show her ankles? yoyoyo
I have tried to tell her that were in the 21st century but she won't have any of it.And i did mean about the outside of the house, meant to put dish instead of box. Got my words muddled up. :$
