It comes with time I think. We've hit a similar pattern to be fair, it got better when we moved in but it's died off again. I've just sorta accepted it now to be honest.

Did manage to have a genuine conversation about it last night though, so broaching the subject definitely seems to be a good thing even if it wasn't great at the time! Haven't really been able to bring up the pill thing but that could be a good shout, she reckoned it had a lot to do with just being overly stressed with uni all the time. Said she feels really bad for letting me down all the time, I don't want her to have to force herself to want it or anything but it's just a proper kick when we spend a lot of our time together more as mates than anything else. I still think she's absolutely gorgeous and wanna throw her into bed every time I see her, would be nice if it was reciprocal!

Honestly, no! We've only been together 2.5 years, which I don't consider long-term to be honest. It's getting that way though. Definitely past the honeymoon bit and considering making longer term plans together. (Moving out of the city and stuff like that).

There's some big things to deal with one day though. She may want children and definitely wants to get married (during her lifetime, not necessarily to me), I don't want kids at all and not keen on marriage either... Time will tell. I think we'll grow together to be honest but there's work to do. Not exactly successful yet then haha.

Having spent four years of my life in a relationship, and then apart from an 8 month break of going around smashing everything for a mad while I was with someone (who was also mental) for two years.

Not everyone wants to be like me, but I think it's all part of being young and working out what you want. The drama that comes of falling in love with one night stands and learning how to deal with it certainly strengthens you and makes you a more reasonable person when a relationship does fall into place.

Until you hit 25 you need to have a couple of years worth of being a slag. IMO.
