We went to the farm etc, walked around there for a bit - saw the animals. Then went to go get ice cream, after that I was like casually "where did I park my car?" and she made a weird noise as if to say "I don't wana go yet"? so I said, or we should go walk around by the lake? so she was up for that Went to a flower/plant garden too on our walk so you'll be happy haha. It was cool though, when I went with my other girlfriend it felt like she wasn't wanting to walk with me? Almost really distant away from me. but yest we were right close. Final pisstake wasn't invited to her birthday thing at hers because and to quote "her mates dont like me" so yeah I'm not being second best no more, oh and she hasn't seen me for like a month anyway despite being 10 mins away. It's half term but I'm at work and the other night see could have saw me and I mentioned it to her and she didn't even think of it, I'm obviously so deeply cared about. When out with college friends, there is the girl who I usually "get with", kind of like my tradition amongst between my mates. But she was having none of it, at all. Felt well rejected !! So just fobbed her off. When we got to my mates though, i was in bed with my mate niko and had a proper good chat for like an hour, and basically told me not to worry about it at all, shes not really worth my time and I shouldn't be focused on her at all. Which really made sense. love proper meaningful chats like that. Right heres my 2p, probably a load of bullshit but here we go *deep breath* When your in a relationship you both establish roles within that relationship. Normally that means that the woman makes the man feel like he's in control but really they have all the say. Like with me and my gf, she does all the cooking and the cleaning and generally everything for me, I feel like this is because I am in control, however she is really in control because shes the one who makes all the decisions. When you break up with someone you have to remember that these roles don't exist any more, your your own man and can make all those decisions yourself. For example I have let girlfriends say things to me and let them slide, because I was in a relationship with them and you let loads of little things slide. However if they want to be your friend that the whole characteristics of that relationship change because you have no reason to let anything slide, For example Ali banters me about my weight and I let it slide cos' she's my girl so can say what she wants, but would I accept that if she was just a friend...? No. If you want to be friends with a girl after you break up you must re-establish your boundary's early, so if shes saying that you should be moving on, then you should be telling her to f**k off, because as only a friend she has no right to say that shit to you, especially seeing as she was the girl who broke your heart its not appropriate. I've sorted out the boundaries by just putting a f**k off big metaphorical wall between her and me. I see a message come through from her, whether on the phone or a Facebook message (which is ironic being as she didn't want to be connected to me on there...), and I just delete it without reading it. I don't care what she's got to say anymore, because she's clutching at blaming everything on me to make me feel worse than I did. If it's anything important, like AIDs or a problem with one of our lads (Guinea pigs ) or one of our lads having guinea pig AIDs, then she'll call and I'll answer. Other than that she's gone. I'm either realising or convincing myself (because it's easier) that I've spent the past 3 years being 2nd best, at best. Not just on her list, but my own too. Kind of interesting to be putting myself 1st for a bit. Deeefffffffiiiiinitely miss her, and the general feel of being in a relationship and sharing stuff, but I'm trying to be as logical about it as I can. She started going out with a douchebag and I was on painkillers for a trials injury so was a bit lax on judgement and basically told her the guy was a willy and told her how to lead her life :/ and she mistook some stuff on my twitter to mean her . The stuff was saying shit about a mate who I found out was an utter knobend . Today is her birthday and I waited till midnight to text her a happy birthday text and an apology .Also asked if she'd forgive me and as of now waiting for a response .
