Has anyone seen my shoe?
Kinda shit I guess. Just wanted to check with some people who are impartial to it all, but I really don't get why she wouldn't say? From my perspective there is one of two reasons.1) She doesnt like you but doesnt want to seem harsh, may end the friendship (yes I know you mentioned that you can deal with rejection in the conversation but still. They are, after all, just words)2) She has thought about being with you, but knows that its a bit wrong. Therefore she probably thought telling you she liked you too might make it harder for both of you to not start seeing each other. So in summary she either likes you or doesnt, same as before you told her (which is a bit of a bitch) but now she knows you like her, if it comes to a time where she thinks 'well f**k it' it will be a lot easier for the relationship to start.Havent really explained myself aswell as I could have but i need to get to work
RobinJI
Cheers, that's basically what I thought, but I wanted to see if it was just me. Bit of a bitch that I still don't know, but meh, could have gone a lot worse, and like you say, may help in the future.Thanks.

JT!
and this would be why I don't go giving advice in this thread. haha:I'm in the bold by the way.Kinda shit I guess. Just wanted to check with some people who are impartial to it all, but I really don't get why she wouldn't say? weird. Ah well, load off my chest having let her know, and she seemed genuinely the same as ever afterwards, so we're still good mates and everything. haha.So anyone know why she wouldn't say? She knows me well enough to know that I wouldn't really mind too much if she just plain said she had no feelings for me, I'm a pretty bluntly honest person, and she knows I always prefer people to be like that back to me. haha. Any ideas?Edit: Left someones name in the conversationI've often thought the whole 'friends ex's are out of bounds' thing to be f**king stupid. If they're together at the time it's a big no no. But ex means they aren't together anymore! What friend wouldn't want another friend to be happy?A bad one that's what.
anzo
There are a lot of morals that come into it though JT. Sure, in reality they can do what the hell they like, they're both single and she (obviously) has finished with his mate. However, you can't tell me that you wouldn't be (even the slightest bit) annoyed that one of your mates started with your ex?Girls come and go, but your mates are for life...so ideally you don't want to give them up for getting your dick wet - they might say they're fine with it all, but until it happens you don't really know for sure, and by then its too late. It's just stupid. But then again i'm coming from a different point of view with the whole relationship thing, i don't put anything before a relationship, distance, work or friends, where as other people will be the opposite. Ducko
life would be so much easier if men were just not bothered about women,as they are all just arrogant, stuck up, narrow minded, thick as sh1t mo-fo's, who always think 'the grass is greener on the other side', then winge about how some stupid chav that wears too much hair gel and lynx has cheated on them with 10 people and a man in a drunk sex rampage after leaving a good lad for them.and then they want to know if you will go back out of them once they have been well and truely rammed by more lads than you can count limbs on your bodyi am certain that there is more brain activity in my CK hub than in a woman's simple head where there lives are influenced by bull sh1t like desperate housewifes and the constant obsession that cheating on your partner is a glamorous thing too do. and on that note rant overif you dont want too be upset stay away.man ho' for the win!!(from now on) Edited October 29, 2008 by craigdavies

Ofcourse there are a ton of people on here and out in the real world who go out f**king women left right and center and not generally giving a f**k. But to be fair i think nowerdays theres just as many half decent blokes who actually try and put everything in to a relationship, just to find that their woman thinks there is something better out there or atleast to be led on by the type of guys i first described resulting in epic f**k up of a decent relationship. Greetings
Isn't there like a 'good to be single' trend emerging? There are really very few girls I know who want to be in a relationship.
