tomturd
I get vivid dreams when i've woken up in the morning.. then gone to back to sleep.I think theyre related to the past.. not future.Eg the one this morning..I was snowboarding, at the bottom of the mountain waiting for my mate to come down. He appeared out of the corner, absolutly flying down it (hes not great at snowboarding) and jumped off a jump into a pool of freezing water (I was thinking shit he cant swim with a snowboard attached to his feet but he was fine).Anyway, we'd been talking about snowboarding the night before, and 2 nights before I saw a stella advert where they lose a crate of stella in a load of icy water.. and someone jumps in after it.So yeah, mine are related to what i've done.. usually. CurtisRider
mine are odd, some with car accidents-even though ive never been in a proper one its really scary, then others where i think im working at the pub still, wake up and cant understand where the hell all the customers have gone and why im not wearing much ...takes me ages to come round and realise!sometimes i swear ive dreamt situations, and they have happened later on, deja vu (or however you spell it), really insigificant things, that when they happen, i remember dreaming about themluckily ive never shagged any munter pigs in my dreams, those kinds of dreams are usually really good
Simon
Mine are shit as f**k, usually related to my deepest feelings towards an event, object or person. There not all shit, but mostly they are, make me depressed in some cases. Has anyone seen my shoe?
Haha ive been studying about this in psychology lately and freud thinks that its a part of your brain, known as the sub-concouis (where all your innermost feelings are kept at bay, to protect you/society etc) playing about and fufilling your wishes. For instance you really like this girl, you have a dream that your porking her. There other parts to it like condensation and stuff but to go into detail would take days put in 'dream interpretation' in wikipedia

Dr. Nick Riviera
ever had a dream about the desert and woken up with sand in your toes?
Jules
Dont really like them, when i was about 6-7 years old i had the same nightmare about witches kindapping me nearly every night, scared the crap out of me I also hate it when you have an awesome dream (you win the lottery etc.) you wake up thinking it is true for like 30 seconds then realise it was all a dream. Dreams suck
Haz
ever had a dream about the desert and woken up with sand in your toes? That'll teach you for sleepwalking in sand pits.I don't remember my dreams, but t'other morning I woke up after dreaming I beating the crap out of some guy (I know the guy in real life). That was it, it was just me beating this guy up. It's not even like I don't like him. Where I used to live in Bristol, I lived on a really steep hill, our road went across it but the other neighboring roads all ran vertically. I used to have this dream where my mum strapped me in the passenger seat in my childrens chair. When she'd shut the door of the car to get in herself, the handbrake would snap and the car would roll really fast down the hill. That's all I remember, but it was damn scarey. Edit: Probs best mention I was about 4 at the time. Edited April 22, 2006 by Haz
Dan6061
I had a dream once, where I bought some food from the Co-Op in my village, then when I woke up, I wondered where all the food had gone.

fruitbat
Dreams are odd odd thingsApparently they are something to do with the sub concious (sp) and things that have gone on, normally in the same day. It will be things that you have thought about and that may have worried you etc, like when young kids watch a scary movie they have a scary dream, its your mind thinking about and realising all the things you tried not to think about through the day....something like that anyway its hard to explainDreams are very wierd and i really dont beleive all these books that are out there saying dreams mean certain things, a dream is just a dream IMO and also a place you can live out your inner most desires and fantasiesFrooty
Greetings
I always dream when I wake up and go to sleep for another hour or so. Most dreams are boring but throughout my life I have had a few in which I was conscious and could do anything I liked. That was ace but all of them were about terrorists attacking our house/car/school (no, I haven't played CS a single time) and frankly speaking I was quite scared. And the most uncomfortable dreams I have is me falling down. That's really crap Also: bike being stolen, my gf or parents dieing or my lizards being killed So probably I dream about things I dread most. RicH_87
i seriosuly seem to have another life in my dreams, whenever i do dream they seem to follow on from each other, or something in one dream, will relate to another dream later on. My dream life is like the opposite of my real life and is pretty much everything i want to be.Somtimes i wake up and think i've gotta go do something, but i only had to do it my dream etc, and i can wake up really happy, or really depressed afterwards, and it usually takes me like 2 hours to get back to reality. yoyoyo
And the most uncomfortable dreams I have is me falling down. That's really crap I hate those ones, i always wake up straight after and i'm all disorientated. Most of my dreams seem to be related to things i've done recently, so if i've had a driving lesson, then i will have a dream about driving, and so on. Michael Hardman
I've had random dreams about little things that have happened weeks later and when they happen in real life I start thinking I swear I knew about this and it feels strangly familar to something that happened in the past but I couldnt put my finge ron it at the time.Werid sense of dey ja vu.I get lots of werid dreams about ding but I wake up beofre it happens.I always have dreams about my teeth falling out Another one is when im falling from something then when i land..i get a shock, and wake up Benny.I've had those falling ones when I was youner they came out of the blue and I would always wake up before I hit the ground as I thought I was going to die and therefore woke up before I died in my dream.Certain music has the same effect I go into a deep day dream about how Im the chosen one with the power to end life as we knw it.Also I used to think I weas god and could do what I liked they were cool. One was were I disliked Blair and Bush and stood in the middle of Westminster giving a speech on how I was going to blow up the world while the police and army tried to kill me but I had some magival power to stop this. I have an over active imagination, Ill write a book. Edited April 22, 2006 by Michael Hardman

Luke Drewery
Another one is when im falling from something then when i land..i get a shock, and wake up Benny.I get that as well, really weird and annoying too.I often dream about really good things like winning the lottery, buying loads of stuff and then using it all ie driving a beasty supercar around, then something weird happens like I crash it and the shock wakes me up. When I realise its not real I get the worst feeling.
planet x alan
i sometimes dream of the near future, like i dream that my mum is gonna walk in and wake me up and she does i also get dodgy dreams like a few times i dreamt i was riding an xc bike and i fell, just before i hit the floor i woke up with a jolt.EDIT: and it really pisses me off when i have a really good dream and wake up and realise it was a dream Edited April 22, 2006 by planet x alan
Simon
I get that as well, really weird and annoying too.Whats worse, is i actually hit the floor? Like, every single time? And you know how an object "bounces" after it hits the floor after a long fall? Well i do that in my bed, like, sink into the bed then bounce a good inch or so up.Seriously annoying. manxrider
I get the falling one as well, but when you hit the ground what actually happens, Surely it cant be physically possible for your body to lift it's self off the ground, with out using hands or feet?
