Hobnobs Posted April 21, 2006 Report Share Posted April 21, 2006 (edited) What do you mean it doesnt fit? As im pretty sure all forks have the same disk mount. Edit: I see whats wrong now. Seems very strange, as though the bottom part of the mount sticks out too far so it goes at a funny angle. Mark W Posted April 21, 2006 Report Share Posted April 21, 2006 Luke got the same adaptor, and had exactly the same problem. It's just that stupid (but necessary ) little strut by the disc mount. Mark W Posted April 21, 2006 Report Share Posted April 21, 2006 Once you know how the brake feels, you know where the bite point is. You just have to learn to use it, same as you do any disc brake. To be honest, I hardly ever modulate it anyway, simply 'cos you don't really need to do massive amounts of modulating unless you're gonna get your stoppie on.
