Lee Cable
Hello, I think i may have a leak. I bled my brake the other day with water and it seems to work for about a hour and then slowly declines in power. Now I have to pull the lever all the way in to make the brake do anything. Help please?Dont slate me for using water, its personal preference. If you dont like it, dont use it. Reply if your going to be helpful, if not. Then dont reply.... Lawnmowerman
Bleed it again and see how it goes. Make sure all the hoses and bleed nipples are tight

downhill_rob2@hotmail.com
If its anything like my louise caliper, there will be a slave pad (pad closest to the wheel) there will be a disk, which you have to screw in with a 5mm allen key. screw it in like 1 turn, then the disk will work again (well mine does anyways )
Endohopper
Strange that it " seems to work for about a hour and then slowly declines in power" , this might suggest the bleed was sucesfull , but the problem may lie with pads or the lever itself . Unfortunate also that Magura offers a 5 year leakproof warranty , which is invalidated by not using the suggested blood type . I've spent sooo damned long fettling with hydraulic discs , screw that , I'll stick with a V-brake up front . Hope you get it fixed
Lee Cable
Yea im considering getting a v brake, as its really annoyed me..my rear ultimate is the best, front magura sucks.... If its anything like my louise caliper, there will be a slave pad (pad closest to the wheel) there will be a disk, which you have to screw in with a 5mm allen key. screw it in like 1 turn, then the disk will work again (well mine does anyways )Thanks for help, but nope. Dont have one...i dont think, i had one on my old mechanical disc, It locks fine, its just being gash and getting worse and worse. I just topped the pot thingy up(forgotten name, thingy on lever). and it feels a little better, not much though..From LeeEDIT- Reverted to how it was again...no change in braking..still pants...
