Tyre Pressures

an average is 35 to 45psi around that area.

also a decent tyre and inner-tube helps and if you cut a old innertube up -ie, cut the valve out and cut down the middle then put it round your innertube it prolongs the life of your tube!

Hell no.

Most mod riders had like.. 10-20psi.

Unless your names Olly C... :P

it all depends on your weight and your stile. e.g.. if your 12 stone and a heavy rider you need a higher p.s.i or visa versa.

but 20 p.s.i on a creepy crawler for an average rider is better

i am 12 stone  and a quite hevey rider hope this helps

also please recomed good mod tubes with nice thick rubber all pms are very muchly apperciated (s.p)

i run mine quite solid, means i dont rely on the bouce of the tyre to get me up stuff

That isn't the only reason people ride with low pressure, if you have high pressure how do you think you would cope on a rail? not very well. with low pressure the tyre moulds round the rail making you more stable with less chance of slipping off.

I run my tyres at 20-35 psi

If your tyre is too soft, it just rims, you want enough air in, so when you gap to a rail, and balancing on the rail, it shouldnt be riming, but just about 1cm of air between the rim n rail, so it has more springiness for gapiing off the rail...

Around 18Psi is good (Y)

+ a Specialised Heavy Duty Tube is awsome, the rubber is 2.25mm thick... so you never get pinches, i just rip the valves off all the time though :(

At low pressures <40 psi, wight of the rider has alot more effect. So your just going to have to experiment and see.

Generally, if you can feel the rim hitting whaever your on, you haven't get enough air in there.

i run inbetween 14 - 20 psi but someone who has a bigger build and ways alot more than me wants to be running more psi

if you keep getting snake bites make sure you have lots of pressure in tem tyres then you should have no problem.

i thinks its just what feels right and all psi will be different for different people.

hello, he runs like 40psi, i thought that was alot but today another snake bite (N) i am forced to run like 35-40 to stop me pushing home (N) i hate hard tyres

adding to what i said before...

If you really hate running hard tyres, i know i do, you could just run them at yur chosen pressure and maybe take some tools and a puncture repair kit and just fix it when your out. OR you could buy another innertube take a pump, tyre leavers and spanner/alan key and change them around. This might cost a little more but will save you time waiting for the glue to dry then when you get home fix the puncture and use that innertube for the next ride you go on (Y) .

I also suggest making sure you have enough/alot of tred on your tyres because running bald tyres normally results in getting punctures more frequently.
