i wouldnt bother with eno, yeah they have the most engagment points but £80! wait for tarty to bring out the tensile freewheel, 60 ep and £30, i have preordred mine :D

Ever owned a ENO?

They are well worth the money.

They are designed to be taken apart to clean/service, they have sealed babearing so don't break as easily and don't go everywhere when you take it apart and they stay dirt/grit free. They run smoother than any other freewheel, have more engagements than any other freewheel, Have 6 pawls instead of 4 so have stronger engagements and viirtually never skip and they dont come un-done every 5 minutes like a ACS.

made of decent metal as well - don't forget that.

they will skip if you don't clean em out but unlike open bearing freewheels undoing them doesnt spread hundreds of pissy little bearings everywhere so you can actually clean them out easily.

Ive just taken mine off the bike to service, only to discover that one of my f*cking teeth has snapped off it! im so pi*sed off about having to buy another one  but for the noise they produce,it's worth it.

thats a very good deal!

  • what kind of garentee do they have?

Non off ebay.

Tensiles sounds good, but it's going to be less than fun servicing them, what with the non sealed bearings.

Also tartybikes don't sell them anymore do they?

Unless you bought it from ebay or some other dodgy outfit of course - in which case it wasn't really worth saving yourself that tenner was it?

give sidewayscycles a call - they do all the spare parts I think. Driveshell ain't gonna be cheap though
