Hezz0l
Sup people! I'm interested in buying a trial bike and riding, but I've never ridden before and I really don't know anything about it Any tips? ~Hessel
Lee Cable
Well, what you can do is to have ago on someone else's bike. See what it feels like, try and ride a mod(20") and a stock(26"), to see what you prefer. Its obvious you will prefer stock....mod sucks.. Hezz0l
Well, there's a slight problem. I have absolutely no trail-riding mates around.. I live in the Netherlands and big hits are skateboarding and inline-ing.. I just found out about this and it's really drawing my attention. JT!
Grab yourself a cheap bike on ebay, always a good start. Then if you find it's not for you you haven't 'wasted' too much money.

Endohopper
A trails rider ?...in Holland ... brain cannot comprehend ... It's like seeing evidence of life in an alien world . Pleased to meet you , Hezz0l , you've chosen the right sport in the wrong country . It seems there are at most 20 of us here , of whom only 10 or so are really serious about trials . Post sensible , correctly written questions / statements here and you'll be allowed into the main forum in no time , and a whole world of interesting , strange , funny and disturbing content .Enjoy ... Hezz0l
Lolol, the right sport in the wrong country.. The only reason I can think of is because of the minority of riders here. I went out riding on my Specialized Rockhopper today, tried to balance a little bit, get my frontwheel onto te curb and backwheel onto the curb. It came along quite nicely but my wrists are taking the hits lol.
Lee Cable
I got that for the first couple of weeks, but it goes away. Just keep at it.From Lee
