munkee
Right the rotor is rubbing against the back of the caliper. Not side to side against the pads but its rubbing the actual caliper at the back. Its pissing me the f**k off ive tried centering the rotor a million times but it still does it, either rubs in one place or all the way around. Any ideas? The only way so far ive minimised it is by pulling the whole wheel as far forward in the fork dropouts as i can, but realisticly soon as ido a tap its gonna be pushed back in. Comment welcome.Oh yea its a mono trial 180 Edited April 15, 2006 by Spacemunkee

munkee
i ground the edge of the disc down, then ground out the disc mount since the people at echo cant weld straight for shit.

David
To be honest, I doubt its anything to do with the disk itself? Probably just the forks, is the wheel tightened fully and everything?

JT!
Surely it wouldn't take too long to naturally dig it's own groove?
Mr Motivator
Has it always been rubbing, or just started?
JonPace
mine used to do this when I had echo urban forks. So I ended up filing down the caliper and all sorts. In the end I sent the forks back and got hifi ones and its fine now.
Greetings
i ground the edge of the disc down, then ground out the disc mount since the people at echo cant weld straight for shit.seconded, had 06 forks and 06 frames from echo group, none were welded properly, still got a zoo fork where the right stanchion is a few mm ahead of the left one.imo filing the disc mount on the fork is a good idea, wouldn't touch the disc if i were you. the mono trials disc is weak anyway.edit: or just put a small spacer above the hub axle to lower the front wheel a bit Edited April 16, 2006 by Inur
