Radfax
hey there guys.I have seen on the forum already that alot of you have a fetish for minis (me aswell) and older golfs. So i was woumndering if any of you was intrested in the very late classic cars? I have a daimler Mk2 250 V8 which has been recently given to me by my dad, i have renectly just got the wheels powedercoated in midmnight blue to match the car and hopefully the car will be up an running which i can then sell on (to buy a mini) my daimler is a 1966 (tax exempt wuhu!) 2.5L with rose interior and walnut dash, alot of work need to be done (as you can see from the pics). So i was just woundering if any of you on here are intrested by these types of car.I know Nicolas sam has a thing going on for morris minors and has a loverly pick up (damn him), and i was just woundering if anyone else was intrested in these cars and hope fully we can get a "post a pic" thread going.Tomorrow i need to put the rear to wheels on to get the car out of the garage where i can sort the back end out, everything is there its just a case of putting it back together. Thanks for your time, Tom

Greetings
Best done job so far:Jaguar E-Type (USA) (2003-2004) Jaguar done for my dads' friend in London, he wanted a classic car but didn't want to pay too much for it Pagoda chosen to re-sell, awful vehicle but apparently percieved as THE car for snobbish women.Jaguar XJ120 & Mercedes Pagoda 280 Automatic (2003-2005)Plus non-documented work:911T (neither targa nor turbo, dunno what the hell this was). Awful to drive, pretty awful performance and crappy looks. Sold in Poland.911 T (not turbo) - (2003-2004)Current project, finished. Was writing a bit about this car in the car thread. Since then the problem with the turbo stopping the air from getting into the engine hasn't been resolved and this will be taken care of by Porsche once the car reaches London. So yes - the stronger you accelerate, the slower the car will go. If accelerating with the clutch down the engine will stop. This has it's on and off periods and sometimes works ok. Been good enough to have a go and check what a beast this car is. 420bhp, tested on a rolling road And by far the most sexy car I've ever seen. The pic looks crap comparing to how this car presents itself in real life.911 (930) 3.3L Turbo (2005-2006)+dad's MGA which can be seen in the background in one of the albums. It's got a milage of 760 000 mind you, and dad's had it since 1963, bought it for 120 pounds edit: this is done as a business, not that we have 10 cars in the garage Edited April 16, 2006 by Inur

dave85
Both my friend's, I'm his right hand man I could scrap uni and work now, and work fulltime on his stuff (5 lorries, 2 traction engines and a railway loco) for the rest of my life and we'd still have jobs left to do.Hopefully, some of that will be mine in time

Shaun H
FB Racing My Dad's (fully street legal) 1934 Ford Coupe drag car. It's a bit fast 0-60 around 1.7 seconds, 0-100 in about 4 and 1/4 mile in 8.4 seconds. Aiming to break into 7s this season...If you look at the "History" section you can see the other cars he's had/raced before: A 1955 Vauxhall Wyvern, 1970 Ford Mach 1 Mustang and a 1980 Vauxhall Cavalier. So much fun to be in it, even just driving around sensibly, the noise is phenomenal, even with full silencing kit and the fuel pump is almost as loud as the engine itself! On just 1/4ish throttle the surroundings just seem to go into a blur! Shame he can't take passengers on the track... ghey.

MadManMike
I'd love a Capri too - There's one up the road from me called a 2.8 Super S or something - the DEEPEST wheels I have ever seen, they must be 8" wide at least...And it almost makes ditches in the floor it's so low - seriously sweet.
