C_T_C monty
Hi, My parents are fairly suportive, they buy me my protective gear such as my helmet and they do help me buy some of my parts. But i don't really talk to them about it because their not really intrested in it although they do try but they don't have a clue what i'm talking about .But on the other hand my gran and grandad hate me doing it, there scared i might which is fair enough, there just looking out for me .Charlie! Mum buys me stuff too, even when I'm about to buy it,she goes 'Oh i'll buy this for you' Fair enough. Other then that, they just leave me to it. T.McMillan
my mum isn't that interested, but my dad was the one that pushed me into getting the justice, he kind of supports me and i can borrow money and pay him back etc, for birthday and xmas they will buy me bits for the justice etc, so i think they are quite supportive if i use my bike sometimes my dad will watch me how i have progressed for 1/2 an hour or so which is kind of rewarding and motivating for me, mum just thinks its something to break bones on but you know what all mums are like Edited May 16, 2006 by speedyjustice
Alastair
my mum really hates me doing it, cos i frequently have back problems, and i have gashed my leg really badly twice, cos i never wear my shin guards, well i seem to only slip when im not wearing them. also becuase one of my shin digs has scarred, my mum really doesnt want me doing. i can see where shes coming from, but its what i wanna do, why should i play majority football, when i can do minority trials, though in time it will become majorty .Al

anzo
Dad = TaxiThey're both interested in it, although my Dad, secretly, wishes I'd stuck to moto trials. Both think I spend too much money on my bike but don't really complain too much.
Krisboats
My parents like that i'm doing a sport but don't like the one i'm doing They don't give me money for parts or buy things for my bike for me, I pay for it all myself. But if i don't have any money and i'm planning on say going to a ride at the weekend they will lend me money till i get payed.. but then they do the same if i want to go to the pub so its not really a supporting trials thing. They don't like watching the videos and they don't like how much time i spend riding and they blame it for everything they can. They don't pick me up from places and sound royally p*****d off the very few rare occasions i do ask them to pick me up... so as you can guess i don't ask them for things anymore. The most i've asked for recently was to have a different type of cereals because i'm bored of frosties. The funny thing is though they're proud of it when people come round to visit... it'll be "oooh chris is really good on a bike and has made videos and a website and everything... go and show them the video's chris" they're like totally different people. Also whenever my bike breaks or i get injured they say that i'm/the bike isn't built for doing these kinds of things .
