MadManMike
Right remember me asking what it's like to get them sucked out?Well, I have been to the doctors three times now.Trip 1: I turn up, almost straight in to see the doctor, he advises me stick Olive oil in my ear (?!) so I do this for a week (What a nice feeling that is too )Trip 2: Go in almost straight away to see nurse this time - "No sorry it's still rock hard, you'll need to use more oil and see me in a week". Bit dissapointed but hey, best to do it properly.Trip 3: (Yesterday) I arrive again to see the nurse "GREAT!" she says, we can proceed. So there I am, holding a metal cup to my ear while she as an almost Esso sized Jet Wash type gadget warming up. Anyway, off we go, not uncomfortable, just sounds a bit weird and feels funny as you can feel the stuff dislodging (Sp?). Anyway she gets most of the ear done (How much wax can fit in one ear?!?) and I start to go dizzy and feel sick, and burning up. She makes me lie down and goes to get the doctor - Apparently one in two hundred or so get this feeling. Trust it to be me!So, they call it off for another week - One working ear, one inflamed ear that I have been told has an infection too.The drama continues..... Michael Hardman
I had the same feeling when my cast was cut off my leg, I was up walking fine and then it hit me, I came over all hot and sweety, dizzy and out of breathe. It was simply my body going into shock due to the sudden cange.
Endohopper
Damn ! Good luck with it , does it affect your balance at all ? Also QUOTE " I'm Resident DJ @ The Office in Hastings" I considered making a really bad joke about the possible relationship between pumping loud music and ear damage , but it would make me sound boring and old .
