Mike Poyzer @ Onza
Just been informed by Maxxis that they have ceased producing Slow Reezaay tyres. All our bikes that currently take them will have to have Super Tacky in the future. I don't know if it is for commercial reasons or something else, but it will have an effect. They are very popular with our customers and it seems a strange decision.

dave85
as long as it is'nt creepy crawlers is ok Creepy crawlers are super tacky anyway.Mike, is there any change in price or specs of the other tyres or are they just dropping the one compound? Tony Harrison
Can someone explain the difference between Slow Reezaay and Super Tacky? I did know but have forgotten. Although it's probably irrelevant now... plus I'm using a Michelin at the moment, but even so...
Mike Poyzer @ Onza
I don't know the reasons and as far as I am aware they are just dropping the one compound. No news on price changes at this stage. Super Tacky is just a soft compound. Slow reezaay also has a slow rebound. In other words it resumes its moulded shape much more slowly. PaRtZ
Hmmm thats very odd. I know a couple of people who really like the slow reazaay....Maybe they're going to improve it and re-launch it as another tyre?
Tom Booth
I never could actually tell a difference between the super tackys and the slow reezays? except the super quick wear rates of the slow reezays. Only difference I have noticed in the maxxis range is the high roller is alout bouncier apposed to the minion.
Concussion
Although I can't fault the grip on both compounds, I find they both wear too fast for my liking, so no biggie here!Maxxis Hansventure 50a/42a all the way.
dave33
could be summit to do with the SR's wearing out faster than ST's who knows?

Dan6061
Hopefully they'll bring out a High Roller with less wear rate? And the Crawlers too. Even though mine hasn't been that bad...

Mike Poyzer @ Onza
This info. was from Maxxis in Taiwan where they make them. It was their reply after we placed orders for tyres for our 2006/2007 bikes.
CurtisRider
Maybe they're going to improve it and re-launch it as another tyre? im guessing the new triple compound tyres will have something to do with this.....st and sr are so similar i guess that they want to replace it with something more unique
